Road 2 Change
The road to change is not simple,
It's not easy and it's not fast.
Cuz when we look in the past and look at our present day
We are still a community.
Even when we don't feel one
When someone doesn't have the same political views or social cues.
But as soon as someone speaks on Rochester New York we all in the loop,
Suddenly the one who was once silent is unmute.
We all come from different backgrounds and different sides of town.
So, I understand the mixed emotions and hate that goes down
But instead of hating why aren't we collaborating with one another to make a change
Because change is more important than a destination.
Just like healing, it's not linear.
We might go back and forth and left and right, but it's what the journey is leading towards.
A connection
